Discover the Good News

God is the Creator of everything — the heavens, the earth, and all life. He is eternal, all-powerful, and perfectly good. Most importantly, the God of the Bible is love, and He desires a personal relationship with every person He has made. Because God is perfectly holy, the only way that we can have a relationship with Him is through His Son, Jesus Christ.

Every person has sinned — we have all chosen to go our own way instead of God's way. Sin separates us from God and leads to brokenness, emptiness, and ultimately death. No amount of good works can bridge that gap on our own. Jesus came to fix this problem.

Jesus Christ is God's Son, sent from heaven to earth. He lived a perfect life, performed miracles, and taught about God's kingdom. He is both fully God and fully human — the bridge between God and sinful humanity.

Jesus willingly died on a cross, taking the punishment for our sins upon Himself. Three days later, He rose from the dead in His resurrected body, conquering sin and death forever. His sacrifice made it possible for us to be forgiven, made new, and welcomed into God's family. This is called the Good News, the Gospel.

Salvation is a free gift — you cannot earn it. Simply believe that Jesus is the Son of God, confess your sins to Him, believe that God raised Him from the dead, and invite Him to be the Lord of your life. You can pray right now: "God, I know I am a sinner. I believe Jesus died for me and rose again. I ask you to forgive me and come into my life. Amen." To show that your faith is now in Jesus Christ, seek out a Christian who can baptize you in the Name of the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit, and disciple and guide you in your new life in Jesus Christ.
