This is the most important part: from ordinary use of the site and app, we do not learn who you are. No accounts, no sign-ins, no names, no email addresses. The code we control does not read, store, or use IP addresses to identify visitors. (Like every website, our hosting provider keeps standard, short-lived technical logs — which may include IP addresses — solely for security and abuse prevention. Those logs are outside our control, and we do not access or use them to identify any visitor.) Our site sets no cookies of its own and uses no trackers or ads. Even the fonts on these pages are served from our own server, not from any outside company. This applies to everyone — we collect no data from anyone, including children. The site and app are not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. We do not sell personal information and do not share it for marketing or advertising purposes.
ما نعدّه فقط
نحتفظ بعدّاد بسيط يسجّل عدد زيارات كلّ صفحة في اليوم — مجرّد أرقام مثل «٤٠ زيارة للصفحة الرئيسيّة اليوم». هذه الأرقام نستخدمها داخليًّا فقط — لنعرف أيّ المواد أكثر فائدة — ولا تُربَط أبدًا بأيّ شخص. لا يسجّل العدّاد من أنت، ولا من أين أتيت، ولا أيّ شيء عن جهازك. We keep a simple counter that records how many times each page was visited per day — just numbers, like "40 visits to the homepage today." These numbers are used only internally — to understand which materials are useful — and are never linked to any individual. The counter records nothing about who you are, where you came from, or your device. (To avoid counting automated bots, it glances at the browser type and immediately discards it — our code never logs it, and nothing about it is ever saved.)

في مكتبة الفيديوهات، يتذكّر متصفّحك الفيديوهات التي فتحتها لكي نعرض لك علامة «تمّت المشاهدة» وزرّ «تابع المشاهدة». هذه المعلومات تبقى على جهازك فقط ولا تُرسَل إلينا أبدًا. لمسحها: احذف بيانات التصفّح لموقعنا من إعدادات متصفّحك، أو استخدم وضع التصفّح الخفيّ فلا يُحفَظ شيء أصلًا.
In the video library, your browser remembers which videos you opened so we can show a "watched" checkmark and a "continue watching" shortcut. That information stays on your device only and is never sent to us. To erase it, clear your browser's site data for our site — or browse in private/incognito mode and nothing is saved at all.
يوتيوب
فيديوهاتنا تُعرَض من خلال مشغّل يوتيوب. عندما تشغّل فيديو، فإنّ يوتيوب (شركة جوجل) قد يضع ملفّات تعريف ارتباط ويجمع بيانات مشاهدة وفق سياسة خصوصيّة جوجل — تمامًا كما لو كنت تشاهد على موقع يوتيوب نفسه. هذا خارج سيطرتنا. إن كنت تفضّل، يمكنك مشاهدة أيّ فيديو مباشرة على يوتيوب عبر زرّ «شاهد على يوتيوب»، أو استخدام وضع التصفّح الخفيّ.
Our videos play through YouTube's player. When you play a video, YouTube (a Google company) may set cookies and collect viewing data under Google's privacy policy — the same as watching on YouTube itself. That part is outside our control. If you prefer, you can watch any video directly on YouTube via the "Watch on YouTube" link, or use private/incognito browsing.
ملاحظة حول الصور المصغّرة: في صفحة مكتبة الفيديوهات، تُحمَّل الصور المصغّرة للفيديوهات من خادم صور يوتيوب. هذا يعني أنّ متصفّحك يتّصل بخوادم جوجل عند تصفّح تلك الصفحة — حتى قبل تشغيل أيّ فيديو — ويتلقّى خادمها عنوان الإنترنت (IP) الخاصّ بك كما يحدث مع أيّ صورة على الإنترنت. أمّا مشغّل الفيديو نفسه فلا يُحمَّل إلّا عند الضغط على فيديو. إن كنت تفضّل عدم ذلك، استخدم وضع التصفّح الخفيّ أو شبكة VPN.
A note on thumbnails: on the video library page, the small preview images for each video are loaded from YouTube's image server. This means your browser contacts Google's servers while browsing that page — even before you play anything — and, as with any image on the internet, that server receives your IP address. The video player itself still loads only when you tap a video. If you would rather avoid this, use private/incognito browsing or a VPN.

عندما تراسلنا
التواصل معنا يتمّ عبر واتساب أو تيليغرام — تطبيقات أنت تختارها وتتحكّم بها. عندما تراسلنا، نرى ما يعرضه التطبيق نفسه (مثل اسمك المستعار أو رقمك حسب إعداداتك). وإن راسلتنا بالبريد الإلكتروني، نرى عنوان بريدك. نستخدم رسالتك لغرض واحد فقط: الردّ عليك وتقديم المعلومات أو الدعم الذي طلبته — لا نستخدم محتواها لأيّ غرض آخر، ولا نبيعه ولا نشاركه. نحتفظ بالمراسلات فقط طوال المدّة اللازمة للردّ وأيّ متابعة، ثم نحذفها — ويمكنك في أيّ وقت أن تطلب منّا حذف أيّ مراسلات لا تزال لدينا، فنحذفها. لن نشارك اسمك ولا رسائلك ولا أيّ شيء عنك مع أيّ جهة كانت بمحض إرادتنا — الاستثناء الوحيد هو إذا أُلزمنا يومًا بأمر قانونيّ نافذ، شأننا في ذلك شأن أيّ جهة في العالم. نصيحة: في تيليغرام يمكنك التواصل باسم مستعار دون كشف رقمك.
Contact happens through WhatsApp or Telegram — apps you choose and control. When you message us, we see what the app itself shows (such as your username or number, depending on your settings). If you email us, we see your email address. We use your message for one purpose only: to reply and provide the information or support you asked for — we do not use its content for anything else, and we do not sell or share it. We keep correspondence only as long as needed to respond and handle any follow-up, then delete it — and you can ask us at any time to delete any correspondence we still hold, and we will. We will never willingly share your name, your messages, or anything about you with anyone — the only exception being if we were ever compelled by a valid legal order, as is true of every organization in the world. Tip: on Telegram you can reach us under a username without revealing your phone number.
تطبيق «اكتشف الرجاء»
تطبيقنا للهاتف «اكتشف الرجاء» (Discover Hope) يتبع الوعد نفسه. التطبيق لا يجمع أيّ معلومات على الإطلاق — لا حسابات، لا تحليلات، لا إعلانات، ولا أيّ تتبّع، من أيّ شخص مهما كان عمره، بما في ذلك الأطفال. وهذا يطابق بطاقة الخصوصيّة الرسميّة للتطبيق في متجر التطبيقات: «لا يتمّ جمع البيانات» (Data Not Collected). الشيء الوحيد الذي يتذكّره هو لغتك المفضّلة (العربية أو الإنجليزية)، وهي تُحفَظ على جهازك أنت ولا تُرسَل إلى أيّ مكان. الفيديوهات في التطبيق تُعرَض عبر مشغّل يوتيوب المعزّز للخصوصيّة (youtube-nocookie.com)، الذي لا يضع ملفّات تعريف ارتباط إلّا عند تشغيل الفيديو، ولا يُحمّل شيء من يوتيوب إلّا بعد أن تضغط أنت زرّ التشغيل. ليوتيوب (شركة جوجل) سياسة خصوصيّة خاصّة به — كما هو موضّح أعلاه. بعض الأفلام في التطبيق تُفتَح على مواقع خارجيّة (مثل يوتيوب أو مشروع فيلم يسوع jesusfilm.org) داخل متصفّح آمن ضمن التطبيق — ولا يُفتَح هذا المتصفّح إلّا عندما تضغط أنت على تلك العناصر بنفسك، ولكلّ من هذه المواقع سياسة خصوصيّة خاصّة به. والتواصل من داخل التطبيق يتمّ عبر تطبيقات البريد أو واتساب أو تيليغرام الخاصّة بك، وتنطبق عليه المبادئ نفسها المذكورة في هذه الصفحة. وإذا استخدم التطبيق يومًا أيّ مكوّن برمجيّ أو واجهة نظام أخرى يمكن أن تنقل بيانات، فسنفصح عن ذلك هنا وفي بطاقة المتجر.
Our mobile app, Discover Hope, follows this same promise. The app collects no information whatsoever — no accounts, no analytics, no advertising, and no tracking of any kind, from anyone of any age, including children. This matches the app's official App Store privacy label: "Data Not Collected." The only thing it remembers is your language preference (English or Arabic), which is stored on your own device and never sent anywhere. Videos in the app play through YouTube's privacy-enhanced player (youtube-nocookie.com), which sets no cookies until you actually play a video — and nothing from YouTube loads at all until you tap the play button. YouTube (a Google company) has its own privacy policy — as explained above. Some films in the app open external websites (such as YouTube or the Jesus Film Project at jesusfilm.org) in a secure in-app browser — that browser opens only when you yourself tap those items, and each of those sites has its own privacy policy. Reaching out from the app happens through your own email, WhatsApp, or Telegram apps, and the same principles described on this page apply. If the app ever uses any other software component or system feature that could transmit data, we will disclose it here and in the store listing.
حقوقك وأمن معلوماتك
إن كانت لدينا أيّ معلومات عنك — وهي عادةً فقط ما أرسلته أنت طوعًا عبر البريد أو الرسائل — يمكنك أن تطلب الاطّلاع عليها أو حذفها عبر البريد الإلكتروني المذكور أعلاه، وسنردّ عليك في وقت معقول ونحذف أيّ مراسلات إلكترونيّة لا تزال لدينا. ولأنّنا لا نحتفظ بحسابات ولا ملفّات تعريفيّة، فإنّ معظم الحقوق المنصوص عليها في قوانين الخصوصيّة لا تنطبق أصلًا على الاستخدام العاديّ للموقع أو التطبيق. ونتّخذ تدابير تقنيّة وتنظيميّة معقولة لحماية أيّ معلومات تصل إلينا (وهي أساسًا المراسلات).
If we hold any information about you — usually only what you voluntarily send by email or message — you may request access to it or ask us to delete it by writing to the email above, and we will respond reasonably promptly and delete any electronic correspondence we still hold. Because we do not maintain accounts or profiles, most rights under privacy laws simply do not apply to ordinary use of the site or app. We take reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect any information that reaches us (mainly correspondence).
